This short course is designed to refresh your memory of the relevant elements of your academic legal training. We appreciate that some of you will not have gone through either an undergraduate degree or a graduate diploma in law. For those of you coming to law entirely afresh this short course will not be able to substitute for the extent of material that is covered by an undergraduate degree in law. That is because it is not necessary for this step for the Solicitor’s Qualifying Examination to go into the kind of detail that those qualifications cover. This course is designed to highlight and emphasise those elements of the English Legal System Curriculum which are necessary to pass the SQE. We can work with individual students to provide further training and answer specific questions as required. We would also recommend to any student who has not undertaken any previous legal academic training to purchase a more comprehensive guide on the English Legal System for your own reference.
