For the past five years the mainstay of the clinic’s work has been assisting clients with applications to the CCRC. Many hundreds of students have been involved and have hopefully learned more about the Commission, its role and the way in which criminal cases are dealt with once the appeals process through court has been exhausted.

Our vision has always been an objective one – to improve the standard of submissions and ultimately to assist the Commission by putting before it the most comprehensive  and well argued cases possible.

We are therefore pleased to announce that we will be hosting an interactive Zoom session with John Curtis from the CCRC. Join us to gain insight into how the Commission approaches its work and the problems of access to justice when it comes to making an application.
