Project Description
Barry Riley was convicted of fraud and pleaded guilty to a charge of attempted murder. It is his case that the guilty plea was on the basis that is was an attempt to assist an elderly friend in her wish to end her life. He says that his was then taken out of context for the fraud charge, potentially leading the jury to convict even though the financial evidence did not stand up to scrutiny.
